Not Pretending Anymore by Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland

My First Fiction Collection!

Molly Corrigan is a nurse in Chicago who is in desperate search of the perfect ideal roommate. Which seems more than hard as simple it sounds after struggling for it even after posting a valid ad in the newspaper luckily she end up with a man called Declan Tate. They connect right away but both are interested in other people so it's more of a best friend relationship...or so it seems ?!

They form an easy friendship as they settle into their new arrangement. They also come up with a plan to get their crushes to notice them by pretending to be date each other. But after their plan works, they can’t seem to stop thinking about each other. Yet there are many obstacles in their way, and some seem insurmountable.

Though this is a slow burn romance, Declan and Molly have great chemistry together with wonderful banter. I loved their give-and-take relationship. The empathy and thoughtful tenderness were heart-melting especially Declan’s.

I greedily read Not Pretending Anymore without pause which had just the right amount of comedy and emotional depth and is a fresh take on the tried and true roommates/fake relationship trope.

Not Pretending Anymore is a slow burn romance by the writing duo

Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland
